yep, those are them Tots we've been talking about.....next to the Markbass 12" combo and NY121 extension which was sold moments after this shot.
You'd never know there are no tweeters the way Duke built them.....but it did take some weight off the build too which was my reason for getting tiny cabs.....I never missed the tweeters but that's me, I prefer vintage tones....
OMG, Loopee -- 27 pedals? I've got (counts)... four -- and I think it's been a year since I actually did anything with any of them aside from the Ditto Looper.
EDIT: Realized that I have more amps than pedals. More cabs than pedals. As many preamps as pedals. Though not definitive, this is a sad commentary on the state of my soul.
EDIT 2: You could try unplugging the extension from the Yorkville. And if the other players like your pedals, I bet they'd love them with the Tots.
I'll stop instigating now.

Yes, I would too but my 66 year old body with, arthritis and 3 whiplashed neck and back and add Fibromyalgia to that, doesn't like it....if I'm hurting because I carried all that gear and set it up and then hurting too much to play, then it's a no go. When I gigged, I carried and set up and tore down my gear, and towards the end, I was in so much pain that I could barely play then tear down and drive home. It's the only reason I don't gig anymore or am not in a band still. poopie happens when you get older....at least I'm still playing and that's what's important
PA gear too......ouch......I did that many years ago, sold the PA.....let the singer do it

Mark.....I love your goofing off......totally enjoying it and yes, I'm at the point where the Tots will make an appearance....trying out a few more pedals and waiting for my #1 bass to get a new preamp and I'm going BCA......well, maybe not, can't stop using 27 pedals all in one go but....you know.....something like that....lol
ps. I thought of unplugging the ext cab quite a few times but keep forgetting to do it....I'll do that tomorrow and see what happens.....thanks, I'd forgotten about that....see....the goofing off is helping.....
There's your problem, you need to move the bass amp as far away from any corners of the room as possible. Placing an amp in the corner increases low-end and boom.
I didn' feel like you were ready to part with one... The Marshall however still gets much love here..

Had someone come over to check out my Fodera P the other day. Was playing through the C1203T. While he loved the bass, he also was floored by the cabinet. I believe another sale was made

Ha! What a wonderful image you just conjured up for me. A mix of the old Downy Fabric Softener, AFLAC, and TUMS ads (with maybe a bit of Rug Doctor and Shaft thrown in for good measure). I do believe that you've given Duke's business its first jingle.
Subjective for sure but I would have to agree that the AK aesthetic leaves me cold.
Meh. I'd rather not pay for "premium" looks, personally (I'm mostly referring to coloured vinyl/leatherette covering and cloth grills, here). Gigs come with numerous trips in and out of car trunks, apartments and venues, and mandatory bumps in doorways and on stairs handrails. I'd rather not have to stress over keeping my cab in "showroom" condition. It's sitting behind me on stage anyway, so it's not like the audience can really see it. It's a different story for basses but in terms of cabs and amps, I'm with team utilitarian.
I'm fine with the look. I think the round grills, etc. look kind of neat, if not super fancy.
It's a no-nonsense look. My wife lets me keep my AK rig in the dining room between our crystal cabinet and the bar, so it can't be that bad.

The look has grown on me....so ugly it's cute.....in a homemade sort of way.
I'm used to the look now, and have fielded all the one-time band-mate comments without pain or problem. They shut up when they hear it . For those who'd prefer a more trad look though, wouldn't a wood-framed, velcro-attached grill cloth be easy to build & live with - granted, multiple sizes would be needed if you wanted to cover the whole AK line, but not a big trick I wouldn't think for a custom woodworking / furniture shop. ...wonder what that would cost?
