AudioKinesis Cabs Part VI...

I don’t know if I’ll ever “need” another bass cab, ‘cause I have my 3 most favourite bass cabs ever. So many have come and gone but these 3 are staying. Love ‘em.
Thanks @DukeLeJeune .

Oh man, what a nice collection! I'm a bit jealous. My Changeling 112 is enough for me, but I'm kicking myself now for not getting two when I had the chance. I could leave one at the drummer's place and rehearsals would be much more satisfying. :banghead:

Yeah, I have a pair of the standard 1203's - the earlier version with the single port. There's no way I could ever need to add another cab for any gig I'm ever going to play, but now that I've gotten my Genzler Magellan 800 that can run (3) 4ohm cabs I've been having to convince myself NOT to keep an eye out for someone selling a used one.

I probably run both cabs way more often than I should, but it's nice to get that push a little higher up in my back.

Yeah, a second cab would definitely be nice for outdoor gigs, now that my new band (formed right before covid and lockdowns) has had its first gig, it makes me hopeful. I think I'm gonna watch this space to make sure I secure a spot in the queue if/when Duke starts taking new orders...

Going to repost this for those who missed it the first time around.

This reminds me of a quote I heard from Bob Weir describing how the Grateful Dead operated back in the day as “wretched excess.” ….. Which in the right context can be pretty awesome. Behold the Birdhaus 415.

i've got a pair of single port 1203, too, wouldn't trade 'em for anything. also a 1506 - very nice! would love a TC15, but i think duke said those won't ever happen again. sad face...

I could imagine Duke as a general contractor, using subcontractors to produce his product, or its certain elements. All customer orders and payments would go through Duke, with him maintaining and controlling his designs and company.

I think that's kind of what he is doing now with his audiophile speakers.
