No sir.
To me, the best thing about the TC115, it's strong point, is that "it's nearly 410."
It's long suit, for me, is what it can do on it's own.

I have three different 2x112 sets I use for when I need more than that.

+1 It would be a pretty extreme gig to require more than a single TC115 with an honestly rated 500 watt into 4ohms head. Probably the best 'size/low end/volume/sensitivity/weight ratio cab ever built. Of course, it has its own voice that will work for some and not for others.

Nice to have many choices. Glad you found a buyer so soon. Whats great about these cabinets its re-sale isn't a problem. In fact that was the fastest sale I've seen with a used (almost new) cabinet that is pretty new in design.

RCF if I remember was a speaker company from years ago that privided Drivers for Yorkville Elite cabs and some others?I think now they make powered speakers similar to JBL EON,s and other type powered cabs on the market but I may be mistaken?

RCF is an Italian company known for SR. A lot of keyboard players I know love their powered monitors. I picked up one of their HD-12a cabs to try after messing around a bit with some QSC K10s. I suspect that the TC212 will actually have some of the same vibe but able to go a lot louder. Another experiment as a couple of my gigs I want to slide more towards a hi-fi vibe.

Cool. One of the big things with the Audiokinesis cabs, due to that super 12 or 15 woofer(s) in there is how the cab handles peak transients. When I was gigging my TecAmp s212, it got loud as heck and sounded great, but if I dug in or slapped at the end of the night as the band was wumping, I hit TOTAL power compression on those drivers (i.e., sounded like someone was turning my bass knob down every time I thumped). This is true of most 2 x 112 or 212 commercial cabs I've played (the Bergantino AE212 being a strong exception).

So, while the absolute volume of the Thunderchild cabs is impressive, as is the big, open low end and super clean top end, to me, the MOST impressive thing is the massive transients those woofers can take, even when you crank the volume.

I actually preferred the tone of the s212 for my tone goals (for most situations), but I would need two of them to keep up with the TC115, much less the TC212.

Man, the TC212 is a monster at that.
The last job I did with it, I used the MBFusion, and a Sadowsky PJ5-which is a big, fat, clear, monster for slap......the slap tone was glorious, and it really seemed like the TC212 was saying "really...that's all you got?"

+1 And I assume you can pump a LOT more power into a TC212 than the TC115 and do no damage. I would think the TC212 with an 800 watt into 4ohm micro amp would be pretty much the king of open low end and volume per size and weight.

Hard to predict yet with the RCF but I got it thinking I'd mostly use it for jazz hits where I'm not going to be slapping the crap out of the bass or at high volumes. I think in general that the powered PA cabs are challenged by bass transients, and this one has digital trickery to help deal with that. It's funny because my drummer last night said he preferred the XS112 even though it had less low bass - he liked the character of the mids. The RCF is much smoother across the spectrum which may be a curse as I typically like a bit more stuff happening in the mids. I'm going to try and not rush to judgement though, and same when I get the TC212. I didn't really put my TC112 through it's paces, and its amazing how we (at least me) get locked into thinking "my tone has to sound like this". I think the Baers will require the same adjustment period. Lots of great choices right now. I could see just having the Puma heads and then TC212 for more "hi fi" and Baer for more "rock". Just have to find the fight combination...

I've answered this many times this week, here, and by pm.

paraphrased quote from today:
The TC212 is great, but the form factor doesn't work for me compared to what I already have. I'm keeping the TC115.
To me, the best thing about the TC115, it's strong point, is that "it's nearly 410."

I guess I must have missed something; why did you get rid of it again?
