Australia - world's filthiest country

I get sick of hearing people rag on Canberra. It's a great place. Far cleaner and more beautiful than any other city in Aus IMO. As for boring, well, usually the people who complain about that are the ones who have a pretty close minded idea of a 'good time'. The biggest difference between us and all the other capitals is that we aren't on the coast. It's no biggie though, because 1.5 hours drive east will land you in some of the nicest beaches in Australia.

I woudn't call myself close minded. I don't need illustrious parties or nightclubs to enjoy myself, but a bit of a nightlife and if I knew more (any) people it'd be great.

however they did let me into the canberra casino when I was 17, rawk!

I thought the international homes are pretty cool in Canberra, i'm not sure if they are embassy offices or what but they look cool.

What freaked me out was everything closing at 3pm. ok I could be exaggerating a little.

31c here right now. Melbourne weather,,,,,you know.

If Laitimour is about I'll send you some LeTan for that 13c London weather.
