Good solid cabinet, no real complaints except I wish I had gotten the horn. Given what I paid I'd probably roll with the 399.00 avatar model these days. Maybe even at 499 since I could get it at 4 ohms.

I've never needed more than it can provide. The 3015LF is a star.

Thanks. It'd definitely be a 4 ohm if I order it. I don't need or want to deal with two cabs. For the gigs I do my MB F500 should do the deed well (or well enough). The GB Streamliner may be getting my attention, too. So much gear... so little time! And money.

Took it up 3 flights of narrow stairs without putting it down. It feels like 63 lbs. But I was used to carrying a 89 lb combo. I haven't had any issues moving it by myself.

I routinely practice through a 12 or 15 cab and use my little 8" GB combo speaker or headphones only when I have to.

Good points from both you and Jimmy. I have an Eden WT-500 capable of putting 500 watts into 8 ohms (bridged) for when I get onstage again. Right now it is running through an Eden D-AH (2x10T with 4 space airhead), and I think the Avatar would be an improvement, especially for the low B. I've been following Greenboy's threads since his carvin experiments, and since I lack the skills and space to build, I think this may be the right option for me.

Thanks. So the general consensus seems to be that this cab isn't awkward to move around via it's handles. 63 lbs, yes, but not made harder to manipulate by bad handle placement. That's good for me, bad for the bank account :D My credit card's starting to twitch!

It fills up a small venue without PA support no prob and provides enough mids and high mids for balance and clarity. I thought these clips were as close as I have come to capturing the essence and vibe of this cab. They sound best thru headphones or if your computer speakers have a sub woofer. I would love to hear clips from other players, especially a rock player ;)

Had this question a couple times now:

DO NOT take a 4 ohm 3015LF from Dave's cabs and put it in a fEarful with a Greenboy specced crossover, or any 8 ohm specced crossover. It will range from not working well to creating magic smoke.

If you're retrofitting a fEarful, it'd be safe to use Dave's 4 ohm crossover in place of the GB specced crossover, but it will not sound as good with the 6nd410 as something designed for the woofers. It'd be a lot safer than just using GB's 8 ohm crossover, though.
