So far my experience with my fEarful set up is that other players scoff at it for the load in, then cry about it after they've heard it.

If one wanted to destroy buildings what about the following...

2 8ohm avatar 115 3 way cabs and one Carvin b 2000 at 8 0hms its 700 watts and at 4 ohms it is 1300 I believe or 1400.

Would that be too much..............???

It would certainly be a lot more than I'd want to haul to a weekend gig, that's for sure.

Too much oomph? That's not possible. :p

Nah, there's a super-acoustically-dead club I use 1300watts/4ohms at. Same with our warehouse rehearsal space, and another club/warehouse called (what else?) The Warehouse.
Also gonna play a 5.000-seat outdoor arena this May and I dread the floor monitors dying. (So it's good to have a 2nd cab on wheels with 700watts on tap for it.) :hyper:

All you need is a small (tabletop/pedal/etc) mixer. Set it and forget it - anything plugged into the mixer is available at all times without switching.

Ok, so say I have something like the Mackie 402-VLZ3 Compact mixer. How do I take the LR stereo output down to the one input on the bass amp? Would you use the headphone jack?

Does it have assignable output buses? Otherwise I'd roll the line out to one side then just output that side.

If you've got a set of stereo outs, and each channel has a balance and you're looking for a single out to your amp, why don't you just roll all channels to the right or left side and just output to that side? Then you have all the signal going to one line out to the amp.

^He means the "pan" knob: the one with L & R printed under it. Although at least on my mixer, the left input will appear at both outputs automatically.
Also, the aux/fx out would work too, with the aux/fx knob controlling the vol. of the mixer's mono out. But a better use of this parallel fx loop would be to add a squashing compressor, blending it with your dry signal.
