Avatar Cabs.

I think you've given a pretty good rubric for the appeal of quality midrange gear of almost any type. If I may genercize it...

I think it's pretty great to live in time where brands like Avatar, Carvin, Peavey, etc can put out geat that is by no means the best but is extremely affordable and does a great job for muscians of any level (hobbyist, pro, semi-pro, etc)
:D

Here's some phone pics. Better pics to come this weekend.

Oops, I just realized this isn't the avatar club thread!

As long as I'm here...
That's going to be a classic look. I love my Avatar Neos (212 & 410). Thanks for posting.
You're very welcome. I'm really happy with the way this one turned out.

Nice!
How does it sound w/ that Peavey?
It sounds great! It takes everything the Peavey dishes out. I'm running it pretty smooth with the tweeter down, but it's plenty punchy.

As for the "search first" issue and the people calling other's "search nazi's" saying they are ruining the site, please note talkbass's own stated rule:

"Please use the SEARCH function before posting new threads. Some topics have been beaten to death in previous threads . . ."

As for "Avatar, are they any good?" the answer is neither "yes" nor "no", but rather "beaten to death in previous threads". Lift your finger, all of the info is already there at your fingertips.

BTW: its been at least two whole days since there was a new thread on "what's the best way to fly on an airline with my bass" . . . . :rollno::rollno::rollno:
hey, whatsyerface... i'm lifting a finger to you right now. :D hey, OP, i have 2 410 neos that i run with a gk1001rbII and it's as painfully powerful as it is pure. excellent build quality, superior customer service, and finest quality sound... the answer IS a resounding "yes" to whether or not they are any good.
