Scuz, dont take this wrong or anything, but is that the "Hulk" jazz from the Frankenstein thread? You ma have no clue what Im talking about..

I may be misremembering, but maybe! I haven't been on the forums in a long time, but I definitely remember posting a lot of pics about this bass due to it being my first refinish attempt. Edit: Just checked and nope, that's a different one. You've inspired me to get a purple pickguard and put mean-looking eyes on there somewhere, though!

Well, after about 4 days of off and on reading, I finally made it through the 51 page mega-thread only to find out that a new one was started. 
Oh well.
I had come across these cabs looking for something else on eBay a while back and had looked locally for some to try out.
I happened upon a pair that just came into a local store. Went back out to the truck to pick up the Ric and play through them. Walked out with one. I kick myself for not getting the other.
It's a B210 Kappa. Anyone know how well those stack up against the new Neos? This one has a switch for flipping it from 16 ohms to 4 ohms. The other one had this too.
Don't mind the pickguard, it's a one-off I built on a lark.
I only play in my office/studio so I've only got a wimply Hartke amp underpowering this fine cab.
I'd like a number, please.
Oh, and for anyone on the fence about Avatar and their cabs...
on eBay, Avatar has about 8000 in feedback and 100% satisfaction!!
That should dispel any doubts on their customer service and dedication to their products.
Oh well.

The Kappa is a lot heavier than a Neo, isn't it?
One well respected TBer once wrote that "Eminence Kappas are not bass speakers". However, if it sounds good to your ears, it sounds good!
I WILL be getting a 2x12 Avatar Cab as soon as I sell off some gear....I've looked everywhere for info on affordable neo cabs, and Avatar seems to be my best fit....now for the most important part: how to dress this bad boy? I'm thinking burgundy tolex, w oxblood grill and white piping...
In the future, I plan to pair it up with a 2x10 to have a kicking yet portable bass rig. Thanks for the info guys. Hope to be applying for a number soon...

What amp will you be using? Someone asked about color a while back to use it with a Little Mark II...I thought Purple would be a good color to go with the Black/Yellow of a MarkBass amp.
