With all this discussion of pairing 212s with 410s I'll chime in with my experience. Not too long ago I started pairing my B212 Neo with my 410 Delta to be run by my Peavey VB-2. I was somewhat skeptical of the setup prior to actually using it. I mean, a 225 watt tube head driving a motley mismatched pair of cabs isn't exactly most folk's idea of a dream rig (I never gave much thought to running them together before this) but those speculations were shattered when I plugged in my Spector 5er. No need to cut the lows like when I'm running my 212 in standalone and no need to substantially boost the mids like when I'm using the Delta in standalone. I feel like a dolt for not trying it sooner but I was somewhat lazy about lugging the Delta to shows as it's about 25 to 30 lbs heavier than the B212 Neo. It's got casters but there's usually stairs involved at gigs. I spent the last few months looking (to no avail) for an SWR Henry the 8x8 or a pair of Trace Elliot 1153s but I'm kind of tired of chasing that dragon and since I REALLY dig the full range with this pair of cabs, I'm just going to get a hand truck and stick it out with this setup for awhile. It may sound even better with Neo 410 (or better still, matching 212s or 410s) but I'll most likely never know. I feel pretty set right now. This rig slays.

My band played at a festival in our hometown this afternoon and I used my Carvin B1500, Avatar B212, and my ESP LTD B-4E. It was thunderous. The crown turnout was awful but it was still a fun show. The PA system that they had available was darn impressive. I'm glad that I only used my B212 instead of trying to haul my Carvin BR810. The monitors were pumping enough of the bass so the cab almost went unnoticed. It sure did help vibrate the stage though. Fun.

Dave is one of the nicest guys you could ever talk to on the phone. That's what I did. I called and ordered it, gave him my card info and it shipped the same day. So yeah, great customer service for sure.

That sounds like my experience. I ordered custom tolex, grill, piping and corners, and yet it only took about 5 days for my cab to ship and a couple more for it to arrive.

I called and gave my info over the phone.

My last cab that I ordered was very quick to ship and arrive (much like the first two). I emailed him the information on a Thursday night, the cab was in the hands of the FedEx crew by the following Tuesday (even after some small confusion over the expiration date on one of the cards I used). It was in my garage by Thursday. I was very impressed with the speed because it was one of my SB112s with tolex, grill cloth, and piping.

The first Avatar cab that I bought was a standard B212 Neo and it was shipped either the same day or the following day. I recall it being dropped off by DHL for some reason and they were pretty speedy. The site now says that all shipping is done through FedEx. Maybe I'm simply confused and it really was FedEx; this was toward the middle of the summer of 2008. FedEx seems to be a couple of days quicker than UPS.

I did all of my orders through email and the process was simple. Dave really is a nice man and everyone involved in the operation seems to do great work. I'm hooked on my Avatar and Carvin amp configurations.

225 watts of awesome :bassist: Last pic of the orange SB112s since I'm putting them up for sale in the TB classifieds shortly (I put 'em up before for a local sale before, but no takers so I'm willing to ship now). I love the cabs but there's a Spector that I need more and I can get by plenty fine with the 212 & 410. Still got Avatar love just with fewer cabs :o

That's my rig, minus the 212. I'd like to add a 2x12, but since I sold my wife on the Avatar based on me needing to "downsize" my rig, it might not be happening anytime soon.

In other news, my 8ohm B410Neo is taking it's maiden voyage to a show this weekend. It's a very large street festival in Chicago, so it should be a good test. I'll be running it with my VB-2, but I'm not sure which basses I'll be taking. Likely my recently acquired MIJ squire P-bass and my Artcore with Cassady guts.

I hope it stacks up because the Carvin RL810 that it replaced left the house forever on Monday.

I can't speak for the Neo as my 410 is one of the older Deltas but as a standalone cab, the 410 is plenty potent. I'm sure the Neo can get just as loud as the Delta for backline (with no FOH) if need be. Gig it without fear and post your results after. I love hearing Avatar reports from the field.

Had my first gig with my new avatar B410 Neo. I ran a MIJ Squire and an Ibanez Artcore with Jack Cassady electronics into a Peavey VB2 into the Avatar. It was a Country music show at a Chicago street festival to a couple hundred people.

The sound was great! It is clear, loud and warm! It doesn't have the "feel" of my Carvin 8x10 cabinet, but it was clearer and punchier and I like the tone more. Once I got used to not having the 8x10 wave of sound washing over me, I really enjoyed this cab. Also, the drummer commented favorably on my tone and Guitarist really liked the Blonde/oxblood/white-piping/chrome look of the cab. He jokingly suggested I get a matching head.

I'd like to add a matching 2x12 someday, but in honesty, this cab has all the tone and volume that I can imagine needing in this band, and the load in is so easy. Thank you Avatar!

None of my cell phone pictures turned out very well, but I'll try and get better pics in the future.
