The fedex man Is my new best friend. He brought me this sweet cab today and I love it. It kills every 410 or 115 cabinet I've ever owned
That is a really sweet looking cab man! Congrats. Can't quite tell, 410 or a 212?
How's it sound with the 800?
the Vibration sound seem to come when I was digging in a bit more than usual. So I suspect I had the volume too high on the cab, gain and volume on the head were all at moderate levels. But I let it creep up there from time to time. hahaha!
Any recommendations for cab volume level as a baseline?
I turned it up to about 3:30 to 4:00, but it was set at 12:00 out of the box
I've found that the cab doesn't like too much low bass.
I was using the suggested settings in the "manual" that came with the head for starting points and they had those Freq at 1/2-3/4 topped out.
That's just me though. Perhaps that vibration noise isn't coming from the cab itself, but something in the room/house? I know when I got my 210, even at low-moderate volumes the rattling was pretty intense. I live in a really old house.![]()
So what heads do you guys use with your Avatar? I have a B410, I am more or less happy with my Peavey Tour 700 but it needs a lot more warmth to my taste.
What would you advise?
Is this just something with the SB112? Is yours a neo or ceramic? My B212 Neo seems to want all the low end it can get... Curious.

Ok the photo's.
