About 2 years ago the 15 in my Boogie Diesel 1x15 gave up the ghost. It lived a good life but saw quite a few outdoor venues and gigs. Most of the time now, it's indoors.
Parts Express is right up the road here so I grabbed an Eminence Kappa Pro 15A. It works. Not quite the same flavor as the EV that was the original, but it's at my feet and my 2x10 Boogie or 4x10 Patterson (love it!) at my head. In short it seems drier, if that makes sense.
Saw recently that Parts Express is carrying the B&C drivers - the NEO drivers and am now very tempted: 1. because they are lighter. 2. because I've heard good reviews here on TB about them in Epifani cabs.
Anyone got a way to describe the difference in tone/sound/flavor?
