OMG when I was working at the music store we all went through a phase where we ran around singing this.Now I've got "I'm picking out a Thermos for You" stuck in my head ("and maybe a barometer, too!") hehe![]()
At least two people have mentioned eating this bread with hot dogs and brown beans.
Well let me tell you that a BBQ chain in Texas has great sausage which I always get with a side of pinto beans. They also have fresh rye bread. I can tell you that it's an amazing combination.
They also have great breakfast tacos made with the same sausage, sliced, and refried beans.
If you want an interesting flavor adventure with molasses, look up shoofly pie. When it comes to baking, those Pennsylvania Dutch are geniuses!
