At least two people have mentioned eating this bread with hot dogs and brown beans.

Well let me tell you that a BBQ chain in Texas has great sausage which I always get with a side of pinto beans. They also have fresh rye bread. I can tell you that it's an amazing combination.

They also have great breakfast tacos made with the same sausage, sliced, and refried beans.

Interesting. I've not seen rye at a BBQ place here or when I lived in Texas. Smoked sausage and rye is an Eastern European thing I grew up with though.

Hot dogs and beans is a thing I grew up with. Heck, there's a beans and wieners IMP (Canadian MREs). I never minded that one. Don't ask me how it's spelt, I never had the time to actually read it.

This bread, I've only seen mentioned on TB.

I've got a long weekend coming up, I think I'm due to get a recipe for this stuff and give it a shot. Beans and hot dogs aren't exactly expensive either.
