B string for a 34"

I'm using .128 Dean Markleys on my BEAD 4 string right now and am super happy with the B, but I just picked up a set of Smith compressors and the heaviest they had for the B was a .125...I'm crossing my fingers that it will be tight enough, because I'm pretty hamfisted sometimes

I like .125". Ernie Ball or D'Addario. Without a taper core. With the action at 7/64" and almost no relief, the B plays clean enough for me.

Construction is more important than guage. There are great .130s and awful .130s.

Stick to Labella (HRS and Slappers in particular), Sadowsky, and Dean Markley and you'll probably be happy. Ernie Ball and D'addario on certain basses, DR on a very few basses.

I like anything from 125-130.
