Here's 2 pics of my 24, I modded it with an Aguilar OBP 2 pre amp with a passive tone control which works in active also, worked out great.

It's a Gotoh 404BO-5 with brass saddles. I just spec-ed the bass out with the different body wood, bridge, and the maple top/binding/inlays/matching headstock. And Brian put in the order with what I guess is considered their "custom shop"?

About 6 months ago. I did some snooping around on their site and found a custom work order sheet that could be filled out. But I can't seem to find that link anymore. I've been told by a couple of people who seem to be in the know about what's going on over at their shop. That they won't be taking custom orders anymore. Which is a shame if it's true. I wouldn't mind having them do another custom sometime in the future. Because they did a really nice job on it. Well, with the exception of the 2 things which I guess got lost in translation.

That's too bad if they don't do custom orders anymore, but it's possible that a custom built Bacchus is too close to the STR brand which I'm pretty sure is built in the same shop, even on my reg 24 the build quality is really high, but without marketing they are going to be a best kept secret type of bass.

The neck on my Bacchus Universe is definately on the chunky side. The width is great, but from the fingerboard to the back of the neck it is alittle thick, but comfortable. I was comparing it to a Aria 5 string Jazz bass I just picked up and the neck on the Aria is much thinner, but they both have 19MM string spacing which is a must for me.
