Bacchus, Show 'em if you've got 'em!

I just got a Bacchus g****r. Lordeh! I know it's a cardinal sin to post such things on this forum and I do apologise, but I just had to point out the level of detail you need to go down to in order to hand-file side scallops into the fretboard between every fret... on both sides :hiding:

Sorry about posting a bad kind of instrument, but my fellow Bacchusites, I trust you will understand :D

Hey mate, the Standard models are an oil finish (woodgrain), the Woodline models are a thin lacquer - non buffed (coloured woodgrain), and the Woodline Classics are a top lacquer - buffed (solid colour). I'd have to confirm to find out exactly what top lacquer actually means but you know :D

That's a nice looking one!! I'm curious as to the build quality and sound of the Universe Series.

Me too, but I don't think they'd put out a sub-par product with their name on it. That could ruin their great reputation. I get the sense their situation more like Lakland/Skyline than Fender/Squier. I'm also curious about the Audere preamp after the rave review Bass Player gave it. I'll post when I've played the bass and I'll review it after the "honeymoon" is over. :D
