Dude I hope you got to see Paul Ellison work his magic this last weekend he was awesome

nobody stopped strings with their chins though (at least intentionally anyway LOL)

dang there were a lot of awesome players there

It was really cool to get to hold Paul's bass and get a feeling for his setup. I was able to just let it lay there against me and it balanced perfectly. I've been experimenting again with my endpin height to be able to get my bass to lay like that and give me the sort of freedom of neck movement he had when he played...get my back straightened out and my left shoulder more relaxed...and have an easier time keeping the bow perpendicular.

And of course get that angled endpin!
