Hello everyone, its been a long time since I been on here, I work alot I work 6 days a week ugh
Anyways after church yesterday I decided to check out Sam ash and guitar center in Tampa fl (awful customers service) I walked around maybe 30-45 mins and not one time did any employee acknowledge me or anything, so I browsed there cab selection and came across the new hartke hd410 cab
I didn't get to play it long maybe 15 mins because kids were bugging me about food, but from what I heard it sounds absolutely amazing
Since the service was bad I didn't purchase from either store, instead I ordered online at Zzsound, I will be pairing it with a hartke ha5500...... Do any of you own the new hartke hd410??? Or played one???? What's your thoughts on it???

Based on the videos I've seen, I'm very impressed with the newer Hydrive HD series. From some of the reviews, I believe they're claimed to have a bigger low end and softer top end than the originals. They're supposedly voiced differently, & it may be due to the use of anodized aluminum or kevlar/paper cones. I'd like to try one in person, but the Sam Ash near me only has the combos. I'll have to check out the one near where I work.

I wouldn't mind going lighter than my current 2 Bergantino 112s, that are ~ 45 lbs each. The HD115 is around 51 lbs, so that's too heavy, but the 112 &/or 210 is something I'd consider. I also need a smallish footprint, especially now since I no longer drive an SUV and they'd need to fit in the hatch of my VW Golf. Shedding 5-10 lbs per cab is my primary goal, but they'd also need to sound good. At its price point, I like the Hydrive HDs better than the Fender Rumble or GK cabs.

Also looking at the Mesa Subway line - which sound awesome - but they're 2x the price, and for weekend bar gigs, really, who's going to notice the difference?!
