Bad luck in the classifieds....again

Someone simply should not engage in a conversation regarding something of this nature If they aren't prepared to continue the conversation, or at least politely pause it, rather than just dropping it with no word at all. I wonder how many of you who would charge me with impatience would be comfortable with feeling blown off by a seller who has your money and your goods, and seemed to have no genuine sense of urgency about soon the right thing.....
Dude, be remotely plausible.
There are times I'm actively engaged in a conversation and my kid shows up needing attention and im gone without notice for hours...or I'm at work and something happens and 3hours go by. If he didnt respond for DAYS you have a valid point, but something like 45 minutes and you look TOTALLY unreasonable no matter how deep you dig that hole.

I've had issues with instruments purchased from the classifieds here that cost over $1500. Every time its taken a few days to sort the issues out. Every time it's been fine.

You're just not in the right here.

all yall up in here

I've been playing since the 70's, I'm not a newbie. The pedal caused severe hiss that could only be alleviated by turning my mids and highs all the way down. Thst rendered the pedal quite unusable.

I think your expectations are too high since you're expecting the seller to provide, in effect, a manufacturers warranty. Please don't buy anything from me.

Is it really so unreasonable to expect even the smallest courtesy, like "can't talk now, but we'll iron it out later"? It takes like 2 seconds to perform an act that can hold inmeasursble value.

Have I dated and dumped you before? That sentiment sounds familiar.

Busy people get busy. This isn't retail. Even with retail you'd get a broken support response in many cases.

I suppose you'd be ok with a broken truss rod in a bass you bought? i doubt it.

I wouldn't at all, but that's not the point here. The crux of the matter is the way you've handled these transactions, specifically: not exhausting all your options before putting it out on the forum. Not everyone is out to screw you over.

Dude, unless you're a surgeon with a patient on the table, It doesn't hold a lot of water that you're too busy to punctuate a conversation thst you're having.

Really? Based on what criteria?

I'm not aware of any written rule that states what you've said.

You can email Dear Abby or Ms Manners and they'll tell you that you need to calm down and stop violating boundaries.

Everyone has a right to some privacy and in this case you're violating it with your insistence that they acquiesce to your demand for an immediate response and their rapt attention.

Also, it's 2016, very few employers will tolerate "sorry can't work now have to deal with an impatient person on the Internet" as anything but pure insanity.

Rather I think people that have gotten so blase about common courtesy need to change their expectations that it's ok to lackadaisically "get around to it whenever". It's the height of rudeness.

Were you alive before cell phones and email? You're way off, bro. You have been caught up in the messed up psyche of demanding instant gratification.

And now Im bowing out.
