Bad news.

Jeff,

Still thinking of Samuel, you, and your wife (and extended family). Can't imagine the stress level you all must be under, but just wanted you to know that you've all been in my thoughts and prayers today. I'm glad to hear that Samuel did well in the surgery - but I know it's like a punch in the gut seeing your little guy having to endure all this. Hope you all have a good night's sleep!

Quick update. Some results came back. Cancer has not spread to any other parts of the body. They will begin chemotherapy on Thursday. He Will have to have somewhere between 2 and 8 rounds of treatment before the tumor can be removed. Today I feel a lot better about things in general. Thanks again for all the prayer and encouraging words.

Jeff.

Best wishes and continued prayers. Good to hear you are feeling more optimistic.

Today, I had kind of a bad day...but knowing what you and your wife are enduring makes me realize how trivial some of life's issues really are. Please know that I (along with a bunch of our bass playing brethren) are thinking of Samuel, you and your wife...and lifting you up. You're NOT alone.

Joe

I'm a bit late to the thread, but you're in my prayers, those of my family, and you're on the prayer list at the church where I play organ. I'll put the word out at praise band rehearsal tonight at the other church.

Good news, my man. With technology today, identifying and treating cancer is much better than it was. I know -- I went through a bout myself last year, and as of November I'm cancer-free.

Our prayers are with you. That has to be tough. Sounds like things are looking up for little Samuel, though.

Awesome news - that it hasn't hit any lymph nodes! It sounds as though they've caught it early (enough!)

Keep the faith,
Joe

PS Do you and your wife have any other kids?
