Bad news.

I am not the most active person on this forum. But I would really be greatful for any prayers or good thoughts. My wife and I took my 10 month old son (His name is Samuel) to the emergency room last night because we had noticed a very hard mass under his ribs on the left side while bathing him. They did some blood work and urine tests. An ultrasound was done this mourning. They are close to 100% sure that the mass is a Neuroblastoma. They will be doing an MRI in the mourning. Possible surgery on monday. What ever you believe, please remember my family in your prayers.

Jeff.

I am praying for Samuel, that The Lord will heal him, and that the mass will be removed from his body, and that he will be well, healed, and free of illness. I pray that his little body and spirit will be strong and resilient, so that he can endure these procedures. And I pray for strength for you and your wife...the strength to walk with your child through this very hard time...the strenght to comfort and cheer him when you feel like weeping.

Lord, please heal Samuel.

Amen.

Cherie :(

Update time.
Second round of chemo will start on thursday. Hopefully he does as well as with the first round. The good news is we can no longer feel the tumor when pushing on his belly. The doctors seem to be pretty confident that the second round of chemo will shrink it enough to be surgically removed.
Also I would like to thank all of you who sent cards as well as other things. My family is blessed because of people like all of you. More later.
