Bad Singers who made it

Yep. I've always found it hilarious that KISS has four "singers" who are all terrible. The solo albums they each put out are as much evidence as anybody needs of that.
Actually, I think Gwenn sounds like the lovechild between Chrisse Hynde and Geddy Lee!
At least she doesn't look like their lovechild! That would not be pretty.
11 pages of bassists talking about bad singers and no one mentions Nick Hexum (311)?
I am perhaps the biggest 311 fan around, but Nick is a horrible 'singer'. He can rap a bit, but he is perpetually flat when singing. Their first two albulms did not feature a whole lot of singing, but when they went a little more mainstream that required more singing.
Also, I have to say that the comment about 'all hip hop artists being bad singers' is just ignorant. As others have illustrated, Bone Thugs in Harmony are incredible, Lauren Hill, and others are awesome too.

Wow, im suprised there arent many complaints about Geddy Lee. I love Rush, and I love Geddy, I think he is a great singer, but there are about a million people who hate him as a singer. But, as far as my list.......

Brian Johnson-I hate AC/DC, and his vocals contribute to that, I guess.
Iggy Pop-I LOVE them, but his voice is annoying.
Kurt Cobain-I like Nirvana, but his voice is kinda annoying too.

Personally I think the fact that Brian Johnson is still doing it after all these years in that style is pretty freakin' amazing. Love his voice or hate it, you've got to give him props for staying power.
