Totally respect this answer Roger.i have tons of respect for your commitment to sonic performance. I love the tone i get from my ML112. Wish my aging back was a young as my mind wants it to be.
Believe me, I get the aging back thing and I've always used myself as a test subject for the cabs. I'm 50 and have had knee surgery, elbow surgery and have a shoulder impingement that needs surgery as well. I've broken both wrist and an elbow, not too mention fracturing both ankles. So, I really keep the portability in mind. If it's hard for me to move, then I rethink the design. I just figure that there a lot of really good, smaller, lighter cabs out there and if I try to make a 48lb. 212 cab, then its going to sound an awful lot like like the other guys 48lb. cab. With the ML cabs, we are really trying to do something different. Once we gather steam and start to expand the product line, we hope to be able to offer something for everyone.
