I bet you didn't imagine yourself spending a week on designing the box and foam inserts when you started the development of the Valkyrie. :)

And may I add: Damn that Valkyrie amp looks sexy!

Yeah, that amp is beautiful. Looks massively upscale, and has a nice 'rock' look, if that makes any sense. Very muscular looking. Nice aesthetics! Nice to see this is almost ready!

The powder coated red went away long ago, due to manufacturing issues, so it was back to the drawing board with my new-found knowledge of aluminum CNC and finishing processes. I went into the redesign thinking "What would an old school Harley Davidson look like if it were a bass amp". For the new look, an anodized black panel with a clear anodized aluminum trim, seemed to work best. I also used the same thought for the ML cabs, as well.

Ok, I have a confession to make.... there is actually one blinding blue light on the amp. We used one for the mute indicator. I've done it before where I hit mute to tune up, then forgot about, only to have panic strike when the song starts, so the one RSL (Retina Searing LED) on the mute function makes it very easy to know right away that the mute is on.

Clip and limit indicators are red, bright circuit LED is yellow, tube circuit LED is orange and the mute LED is blue. Once you get used to the color scheme, it's easy to look over at the amp and know exactly what's going on.

Actually, just pulling your armadillo. I prefer the black and clear aluminum. Don't know if you recognize my user name. Without giving away our phone conversations, useful hints would be...ML115, mother-in-law lives with me now, Santa Clarita. :)
