What a great rig! Micah is a genius and makes some incredible sounding amps. I can only imagine the tubes goodness coming from that rig. Those 6" mids just loves 'em some tubes! I've kicked around doing an all tube amp at some point, so it's encouraging to see that players are still buying them!
Roger, is there a time frame on the updated 15' cabinets? Loving my two ML112s but would be interested in what a 15 would add, as a stand alone cab or with one of the 12s. If there would be a minimal difference (in the low end) I would just stick with the 112s. I'm using a Bergantino Forte D head.
No time frame at the moment for the ML revamp on the ML115 at this moment, but I'll keep you posted. I wouldn't say the low end on the ML115 is dramatically different, but it is bigger sounding, being a 15 and all. The ML115 was a really unusual 15" cabs, as most 15" cabs tend to have really big. pillowy lows and scooped upper mids that gives them a kind of "slow" sounding response. The ML115 was a ML in true fashion and had a tighter, punchier low end and a flat response through the entire mid band. The main reason it sounds "bigger" than the ML112 is the fact that, with the same mid driver, the overall balance of the ML115 is shifted due to to the bigger driver moving more air and reaching a bit lower than our 12" driver. So, it's not like it's night and day, but the ML115 was definitely a bigger sounding cabinet. I'm sure one would sound great with your Bergantino amp, because, well... what cab wouldn't sound great with a Bergantino amp!

I've reached out to Faital, and it turns out they found about 20 of our ML mid drivers in their warehouse in Italy. I did some additional searching through our shop and managed to find enough components to make a small run of maybe a dozen of the original ML115 cabinets. So, I'm putting out some feelers to see how many people would actually be interested in purchasing a ML115 cabinet. As it would take a considerable cash commitment for us to pull this off, we would have to require deposits to make this happen. If anyone is interested, please feel free to reach out to me.

Really looking forward to getting it to a practice. Will be interested to see how it competes with a loud drummer and 2 guitarists with Marshall 4x12 stacks. I suspect i'll be adding another to the mix in the not too distant future once the bank balance permits.
PS I've had Barefaced cabs in the past that have been incredible but think this might top them. Hopefully no peeling tolex on this either unlike my BF two10!

Haha that plant is a Zombie. Nearly as old as me, once forgot to water it an entire summer and still keeps going. No matter if I ignore completely it or water twice a week it still keeps plodding on and doesn't really look any better or worse
Well first practice with the ML112, sounded great especially with drives etc. I definitely need a 2nd to keep up with this band though.
I ended up adding an Ashdown 112 to the mix which just gave it that little extra to cut through better.
Going to be a while I can afford another but that'll be perfect for me I think.

Very cool, Tom! What's your thoughts on those Sadowsky pickups? I can remember mentioning those pickup concepts to Carey many years back, as it just makes sense to me to have a Jazz that does 60's and 70's as well as a P pickup that could be switched from regular to reverse. Was thinking of getting that same setup on my next Sadowsky.

As you are aware, I have a large number of really nice basses, and that CAO Sadowsky 4-string Super P/J has been my go-to bass of late. It just sounds and plays so well, and it covers so much ground. I normally leave it in Reverse-P, '60s Jazz bridge P/U setting, but all the settings are very useable. To be clear, the differences in pickup winding selection is definitely on the subtle side, but if you know what you are listening for, the changes are true to form. Just a fantastic bass!
And Roger, that rig is just wonderful! It could easily fill the role of my one and only rig, and it puts a smile on my face ever time!

Selling my two Baer ML112 cabs w/ padded covers in the classifieds. Bought last year, only used in my home. Mint. For Sale - Baer ML112 Cabs (2) PRICE DROP 5 Ea.
My two Baer ML112s, listed above, have SOLD.
If anyone has a Baer ML112 cab and would like a brand new Baer padded cover for it at a great price, with just a slight twist...
One, or both, of the covers I ordered came with the cutout for the top mounted handle slightly off. It misses the strap handle a bit, but you can still grab the handle to use it. It also works great to keep dust off of the cabinet, and protect it from bumps.
I guess Roger just had me return one cover, and he replaced both covers that I sold with the cabs. I still have this one.
If interested, you can have it for just the shipping cost. I use Pirate ship and from Boynton Beach, FL to California I'm coming up with just under $12. It might be a bit more if you want to insure it for the cost of a replacement cover, but I would guess still around $14.
I will ship this to the 48 Continental U.S. States. PM me if interested and I'll give you an exact price, PayPal F&F works.
