Bag End 4 x 10

I will be using these single 10”s throughout the season.. two of them together sound amazing.
I will run them at 2 ohms with my MESA WD800 head since the cabs are each 8 ohms.

Methinks that's the cab with the coax tweeter, so sonic compensation for visual imbalance!

Ha! No, that little 4×6 of her always has a little roll of gaffers tape on the bottom of the frame, sticking it to the top of that Mesa amp. (the picture is from an autographed copy of Barbara Eden's autobiography from a few years ago)

The real idiocy on my part here if you look closer, was the horrible decision of using the CASTERBOARD under the stack of BagEnds! That gig was literally on a floating boat dock... with boats coming in to watch the show. I didn't even realize how dumb it was for a while...

What a perfect modular rig--bring 1, 2, 3 or 4 depending on the gig. I agree with S-Bigbottom, a vertical stack is the way to go. Benefits include much better horizontal dispersion of the mids and highs, plus getting the sound up closer to your ears. Put the one with the tweeter on top.

The 'red dust cover' is actually Bag End's coaxial tweeter that they call High Drive.

Bag End, for bass cabs once you step away from the traditional amp maker cabinets, are a benchmark. With the Subway, Genzler, and other modern bass cabs, the difference is not as great as it once was, but Bag End is still mighty potent across MI, and traveling and installed sound.
