Yes I would say this is a dead thread. what is the going price of their 410 with coaxial speaker, you talk about? Dealers still around ? Will do a search. Another TB member found an ad, where they are giving them away. John Pattitucci loves them.Sorry about spelling John!

Believe it or not, there are still a number of us happy BagEnd users in here, it is just that we're a quiet bunch!!!
2x15 plus a powered 2x10 here.
How do they sound? GREAT!!!
I have GASed for a 4x10 for years...
And I think "rich" perfectly describes Bag End cabs.

I've been quiet satisfied with my 410 and 210 besides those coaxial tweets. A defeat knob or switch would've been wonderful. That along with their weight is why they're seeing their way out. I don't want to mod them and I re-injured my shoulder getting them out of the danger zone last night so the cat didn't get at them. That's good enough for me. :hmm:

I use the following system:

Preamp (Demeter HPB-1J) => Compressor (Ashly CLX-52) => Power Amp (QSC PLX1104) => 2 - 2x10 Bag End Cabinets (1-D10BX-D & 1- D10BD).

Bag Ends too heavy? ... here's what I use (I'm nearly 50 years old and too stubborn to switch to "girly man"-light cabs) :) :

If I only need one 2x10 I use one channel of the QSC power amp.

Bag End threads should never be allowed to die.

I should become a Bag End dealer but that spot's already taken in my area.

greatest commercial cabs on planet earth, jmo is all. my S15D-L is unreal for a 18x22x22 15 cab. i tried two smaller S15D's once and Loved it, but the D-L has that extra low end grunt that is thoroughly addicting. very deep yet very tight at the same time. one incredible cabinet

Parsons just picked up a pair of S15D's - he brought them over this past weekend so we could run them with my pair. We powered the S15 "quad" with a CA9 running around 900 watts into each stack. It was painfully loud.

The studio is built with fire core drywall, multiple layers in places, screwed and glued with construction adhesive, so it was fine, but there was a picture on the wall in the back corner that was flopping like a fish from the port output!

Picked up the Q10B-C yesterday, brought it home, plugged my Shuttle 12.0 into it with my Lakland DJ5 and immediately began to smile. The cab matches up really well with the GB head! My amp seems a lot happier as well. I was hitting the limiter light fairly often with my Mesa PH115's. Had to really crank it and roll in a lot of bass before having that happen with the BE. Gigging Thursday night with it,...can't wait to hear it in the mix.

On a side note, I have an empty 15D cab laying around. Wonder if I should load it up and give the two of 'em together a go.......
