Bag End Club.

Does anyone here have expirence using the s10n-n (or similar 10 inch speaker Bag End cab) with upright bass?

S-10-D yes... with an Acoustic Image Clarus 2. Usually just for stage volume... that's all I ever need on upright.

*not familiar with the N series though.

Have always wanted one of those. Recently played a couple of gigs with a friend's 115 BE and it was unreal. Still one of the best bass cabs around. That s12 has always intrigued me though.
They make great cabs.. I’ve been using them for many years.
I was also interested in the single 12 and am very happy with this cab. Was looking at a 2x12 cabs but would rather have the single cabs in case I just need 1.
Excellent build quality, not too heavy and ceramic magnets

I need to pick myself up a new S12... I want to put an 18watt Marshall clone on it for recording and when guitarists visit

Yes.. If you look on Bag Ends site there’s an endorsement for this cab who used this model on countless recordings and performances.
It’s a solid build and has such a tight sound.

Is it me finally? I've been pimping the S12 for recording since the early 90s :) Some of my best recorded tones have been a close and distant mic on the S12 isolated in a booth LOUD, mixed with DI.
