id say dive bars, cafes or garages with that set up. id use something bigger if i was in doubt. when i was playing with a country band alot id use one BE s15 with a 60w bassman or the tonehammer 350 ( and foh ) and it would be plenty.

OK, thanks. I do use all of the notes on the B string and I do want the maximum low extension possible but I definitely don't do fat, reggae tones; I strive for something more "stringy" with harmonics - here's a weird mixture: piano clarity but with double bass richness
Also, my days of playing 4 or 5 sets a night with a dance band are long past (mercifully). I'm into a duo or trio playing listening or background music for a couple of comparatively low volume sets. You know, like "Two shows nightly"
