"Band Wars"

I agree with everybody's rants on here, but now it's time for my rant.

Me being a in high school and all, i'm kinda looking for a "gf" as the cool kids are callin' 'em, and hey, girls like to go see bands right?

Well i'm in a metal band; not a brainless yelling metal band, a Metallica influenced metal band. Guess how many girls like this stuff? My guitarist friggin shreds, my drummer can do some cool things, and i'd say i'm a pretty good bassist. I wasn't even noticed on stage by really anybody until at our last show when I busted a phat bass solo. Guess how many girls like that emo crap? Guess how many different notes are played in an emo band.

I feel your pain, all the girls are impressed by the gay emo bands around town... but then again, that hasn't stopped the stream of groupies from coming to see our band...

I feel your pain. Im a college sophmore, and for some reason girls love that crap, I never understood it. I just see it as guys with little skill, no creativity who like to pick their emotional scabs on an acoustic guitar. Never quite understood where the appeal lies. Anyway, I rock because its awesome , the chicks are a perk.

Anway...im gonna go with "3" as a guess. with only a cheap acoustic guitar. and bad singing. and makeup.
