For me it's Bruce Springsteen. Just can't get into him, I get lambasted all the time by my friends for not joingin the band wagon, but just don’t care for his music. I think he's a terrible guitar player to boot. It’s must be his persona – he always acts like he’s some little tough dude from NJ. (I guess now he’s some little old guy from NJ.)

I always thought Bob Marley's music was universally loved by all...weird

anywho,

Springsteen. I seriously, seriously, seriously don't get it not one bit
Pink Floyd
Nirvana
Tupac
Coldplay

I'm sure there's more bands that most folks like that I don't care for...

Not defending him, but I've never once gotten that vibe from him...hmmm. Always came off as a beat-poet initially, like a Jersey-Dylan or somthing, through Nebraska, then as a flat out Root-rocker Born to Run and on...but never chip on his shoulder-ish...


As for me, the list would be endless, I kinda don't see the point of this thread, and it should be in Misc.

You're missing out on a lot of good music and basslines just so you know...

For the record, I used to hate most those bands, and I'm still not a big fan of Zeppelin, but they all have some really grooving stuff.

Rush (respect them as musicians, can't stand the music)
Dream Theater (see above)
Tupac (poser, though I gotta admit I love that one California Love song, it had a cool video)
Dragonforce (While everyone I knew were going crazy for them, I couldn't stand em.' Even before it came out they were really talentless hacks who couldn't even play their own songs)
Primus (see #'s 1 & 2, got mad respect for Les as a human and musician, but the music just doesn't click for me)
Tool (respect what they do, and admit there are a few songs I don't mind if I've been into some of the "green stuff," but really just too... meh.)
