Barber Linden EQ • New small form factor

So
I'm happy with the tone of a P through a GK RB1001 (at least for right now)
I also like it with an SVT; both into a GB 2x12 NeoX
Undestood that the Linden in an EQ pedal but does it bring more to the table than a treble and bass cut/boost?

Some threads talk about the Baxandal EQ offering a different voicing; others have mentioned that it may offer up some extra harmonic content (but not necessarily distortion)

With the GK and the Linden, do I get more into SVT territory?
Is threre some mojo in this box that is more than EQ?
Only other pedals is a compressor.

:D I hear ya! I'm kind of locked into it, though. I did drop it for a few months because of frustrations with switching and not getting enough time to switch, but I ended up missing it.
Gave it up about.....10 years ago. Still miss it alot. Really humbling instrument. And don't get me started with the arco.......that thing made me lose a couple years of my life expectancy

Damn you guys! Just when I was thinking I was free from GAS for awhile... Feeling the itch to grab this pedal! Don't have any Ampeg style pedals, and just looking for a different flavor to go with my Markbass. Regardless, htis was definitely a fun thread to read through!

Same here - I was all content with my eq/preamp.....and now I have a Linden out for delivery today.

Forgive me because I'm quite new to all this, but if this is just an EQ, isn't that a rather well-explored and sonically limited space to be dropping new pedals in? In other words, what's the point of getting this when you could grab, say, a Boss GEB-7 or something and (what seems to me) have more control? Or does this do something extra/different that the GEB-7 would be capable of?

Not trying to rag on the Linden; I just don't understand how this all works and am wondering what I'm missing.

Someone once told me, "There may be overcrowded fields out there, but there's always room for a good one."
