Okay so I was thinking of buying a squier bass because my budget is 350 only, I am indecisive about buying the bass or an amp head. But the thing is, if I buy the amp head, I would have to buy a cabinet! But I dont have money for that! But I do have these cabinets in my garage, LOL, could I use them, i know they are very big and my sound would be very muddy, and i play in a venue with 100, still too big for that I know. Thoughts? Get the bass or the amp head and use this huge cabinet lol, i dont mind carrying it!

Bass amp head or bass

A really old amp that buzzes and has a loud noise when I turn volume up it's a behringer bx300 really old and broken handed down more than 12 years ago

However, NEVER, I repeat NEVER skimp on your cab.
A great head through a cheap cab will still sound bad, whereas a cheap head through a great cab can be made to sound good.
