I'd love to hear yours, should be an interesting thread if people contribute.

    Here's mine...

I don't like the Damnation MBD pedals. They have given me issues power wise, finicky with what I feed them from my PSU, and I just didn’t liked the dirt sounds that they gave me. I have tried a couple of MBD-1s and one MBD-2. I wanted to love it, and for so many it's alpha bass distortion, but I just didn't dig it. Saying this with all due respect to Jeff, because he is great.

    Here’s mine.

Other people’s experience with musical gear offers a 0-50% degree of predictability for your own experience.

I think Chase Bliss makes absolutely amazing pedals, truly, but I've sold every one that I've had - I like my gear to be like me - simple.

I gave up on compressors over a year ago, after a few years of trying and studying it, and couldn't be happier, and sound better than ever!

Internal dip switches and trimpots are stupid. Put the controls where they're accessible.

Is this the thread for being controversial? Great!

I like all my pedals and find compression very useful.

    How did I do?

  9. Modern metal distortion doesn’t sound that good, and tuning any lower than about Ab doesn’t help. It all ends up sounding the same.

I had to edit my original reply which bizarrely stated "I like all my ideals". Well, like, who doesn't, no?

  12. Most of us have waaaaaayyyyyy nicer effects setups than the heroes we grew up listening to.

Who probably played 100% boss/EHX pedals and changed the world with them.

    I’m fat, and unpopular.

    Wait...

  14. Top jacks should be standard on all pedals in existence...no reason to have wasted pedalboard space to the left and right of each pedal in this day and age.

Boutique pedals these days are marketed like the overpriced chips at Trader Joes. They all have a goofy ironic name and a hip retro graphic intentionally printed badly on the chip bag/effects case.

  16. There aren't enough pedals with control voltage ins/outs.

Why do they call it a SansAmp when you need an amp to actually use it

Stick a clean blend on that motha.

And I have about 40 fuzz pedals but I usually play clean. Is that so wrong?
