Can't stand white PG's and replace them immediately on any bass I purchase. I agree with Bunchy Mutt-tacky....

I like the Gold Anodized with the pao ferro board. But since you went with the darker rosewood board neck, I'd go brown tort. That always looks good with Shoreline Gold. The Aged White Pearl would look okay as well.

My Lakland is Aztec Gold - not Shoreline. But it came with a parchment guard which I didn't care for. So I went with brown tort.

Also, I have a Sonic Gray Jazz that I put an Aged White Pearl on. IMO, it looks better than the non-aged traditional White Pearl.

My eyes aren’t what they used to be but
it looks like the white pg plays off the dots pretty well, otherwise I’d go mint.

Throw the gold back on it, and put the white pg in the sunniest window you have. In a few weeks you oughta be able to start seeing it yellow a bit.

The screw holes may not line up exactly, it the PG is heated too much, repeatedly.

But, the creamy colour resulting, may be perfect.

You got a lot going on there, an aged white pick guard, off-white p/u covers, stark white tug bar and black dots. I woulda gone with a black pick guard, black covers and tug bar…But that what make us all a little different and that’s ok

I really like the stark white with the gold flake and maple FB! That looks great, but it’s a completely different vibe than what I have going on. This makes me want to save this pic guard and do a metal flake paint job build in the future.

Like others, I think the white pickguard on the gold bass looks stunning! Whether you're dressed up in a tux or dressed down in jeans, that bass will look great in any gig.

And white will fade. Just gotta keep playing it, gigging it, and let it mellow and age the old fashioned way.

But, again, that's just me speaking for myself.
