Bass makeover… pickguard is disappointingly white.

I like the Gold Anodized with the pao ferro board. But since you went with the darker rosewood board neck, I'd go brown tort. That always looks good with Shoreline Gold. The Aged White Pearl would look okay as well.

My Lakland is Aztec Gold - not Shoreline. But it came with a parchment guard which I didn't care for. So I went with brown tort.

Also, I have a Sonic Gray Jazz that I put an Aged White Pearl on. IMO, it looks better than the non-aged traditional White Pearl.

Like others, I think the white pickguard on the gold bass looks stunning! Whether you're dressed up in a tux or dressed down in jeans, that bass will look great in any gig.

And white will fade. Just gotta keep playing it, gigging it, and let it mellow and age the old fashioned way.

But, again, that's just me speaking for myself.
