Bass Meme War! Go!!

6' 2" (188 cm) for me. To me a big SUV is a Suburban or Expedition. My last vehicle was a 1992 Ford Explorer which was much larger than the Santa Fe. I could fit my bike in the back without planning out my approach or taking the front wheel off it. I'd probably be happy with a Tuscon as long as I could fit my trike inside.
6'1" for me...I fit very comfy in this one, which might be a compact SUV

I am not sure whether you would have fit in my jeep or not. It was this model (but mine was "newer" and in far poorer condition):

The problem was that the seats did not move, they where bolted in place. In fact the gas tank was under the drivers seat, which made it very hard to move.

It also was not an SUV. It was clearly marked TRUCK, UTILITY, ¼ TON, 4 X 4, M38A1.

I had no trouble fitting in those when I was 18.

More about the JS Bass 2 (and other Guilds of that era). Below is a web search shot of one of the Newark Street M-85 basses' bridge and saddles. The saddles are rosewood blocks. I'm not aware of any other manufacturer who used this sort of setup.

Oops, now that I did a search, they were in fact made by Hastrom. I saw someone selling aluminum replacements for them on Ebay about four years ago (according to my e-mail history); however, the website is now defunct. My M-85 had its bridge replaced before it got to me. Whether that's good or bad I guess depends on what you enjoy at the moment. Both my JS and Starfire have the rosewood deal. It certainly gives them a distinct sound:
