Bass Meme War! Go!!

I came across an article by accident the other day from that same site on "How many watts do you need in a Bass amp for small gigs". It was one of the most ridiculous pieces of twaddle I've seen in a long time.
Having just now had a quick look at some other articles on the blog on that site and it's either a joke or written by someone with very little knowledge about basses, guitars and amps. It's so bad I really can't tell if it is supposed to be serious or supposed to be a p!ss-take.
Here's the link to the article I saw.

Oh crap, if some unsuspecting new player reads that, they are going to be so confused.

My LS/BL sent that to me yesterday. :D

She intentionally puts me, a righty, on her left and our guitar player, a lefty, on her right. That way there's no danger of her bumping into our necks while we're playing or of us giving her a concussion with our headstocks.

The only times that's an issue is on a really small stage. Our keys player sets up on my left and faces across the stage rather than facing front. I sometimes have to watch out for my headstock knocking his mic boom and his iPad stand, but at least they never move so I always know where they'll be.
