A newbie engineer (with a U of IL engineering degree!) was having trouble with his design for a new amplifier circuit. He came to me with his circuit diagram and asked for help. A quick glance revealed the problem. I started laughing. I asked him "how do you calculate the gain of an op amp?" He replied "divide the feedback resistance by the input...oh".

So funny! My youngest son was a dead ringer for Calvin (and yes, he carried around a stuffed tiger). He's now 30 and he has a little boy as precocious as the cartoon character and his name is Calvin...he just had his 2nd birthday and my wife and I sent him a stuffed tiger too.
Don't even ask about the sound hole.
Of course tone wood is a thing - just play a C on your G string and tell me where's the fundamental

This is SO bad. What's a "an toe 2 volt", and it's "neodyMium" not neodyNium", producing a "clear, sharp tone" good for any kind of music. Except for funk, reggae, blues...
