Have to be a pretty big walk-in fridge to house the whole band (rehearsal fridges are never big enough, btw), and a window/pass-through out to the audience.
Absolute truth. One night, loading out from a venue across the street from Lambeau Field, it had to have been close to -20. Clothes wet from sweat froze in place on our bodies like goofy denim armor. I've never been so cold in all my life. The only thing I could think about was getting gear in the trailer and getting to the hotel. That is, until I saw people on the side walk. They were screaming and howling at the top of their lungs as they pulled wagons and sleds full of cases of beer. No shirts but at least stocking caps. Mind you they weren't going from a building to a vehicle - they were just out taking their beer for a walk.
This was never a problem for me, all my friends, past and present, have thought a good chunk of my musical tastes weird weird, obscure, questionable, confusing and/or worthy of ridicule. I never cared. Probably thought the same of theirs.View attachment 5253097 This used to be a problem when I was younger, so I got rid of my friends!
