If I lay out for any reason, the other guys start getting this panicked look on their faces.
I will only do this at rehearsal, NEVER at a performance - not that we play out so much, but seriously, folks.... 
Well, sometimes its because I messed up, but when I stop and look at them, or turn away, everything falls to pieces in jig time. (Sorry.
) I'm not the BL or the MD, just the bass player. Heheheh. The drummer and I have been communicating musically better and better, and he's now in on the thing. He'll throw in an extra beat, and THAT really sends 'em. Good times!

Me and my drummer have our in-jokes about buying this and use it only in the intro of one song.
Of course we would bring it to the gigs.
