Unfortunately, lead guitarists have seen these bassists, and are crowding onto corners everywhere, nonchalantly moving in front of, blocking the bassists, to get all the attention, and doing their own solos, drawing crowds from near and far.
In order to mitigate coronacrowd drawing guitar solos, the US Army has instituted the US Army Bass Solo Corps. Bassist Training, normally 10 weeks, has been reduced to two days, because of the current crisis and the fact that anybody can play bass (bassists aren’t really musicians anyway).
