Bass Multi-Effects

Hey guys, just wanted to as you several questions about some Bass Multi-Effects.
So i searched and looked for some today and found a comparison - BOSS GT-10B, and ZOOM's multi-effects. Not sure about the types for the effects in ZOOM. But clearly i LOVE the fact that BOSS GT-10B owns a looper.
any opinions? well soon i am getting my first bass ( yes, the one i have belongs to my father ) and maybe an amplifier, and so i was thinking of getting all at the same time.
*HARHARHAR*

Thank you for taking your time to read my thread! Guess i'm lovin' this TalkBass thing.

My favorite BOSS multi-effects pedal is the 50-MB. The controls are analog. Most of the effects are very good (except for some of the synth ones), it is rugged and easy to use. The compressor, OD, chorus, flanger, octave are some of the standouts. It also has a BOSS quality tuner. You can often find used ones that are in great condition.

For the price, you're not going to get a better sounding Multi than the Zoom B3. If you want something a little more powerful, the Boss GT-6B/10B would also be suitable. I used a Korg AX3000B for years live and recording, which can be picked up for seriously low dollar now. Worth watching video demos or getting into a shop and trying some out if possible.

thank you all!
@pedroims: really? so ZOOM b3's got looper too. hmm, thats the repeat-after-what-you-play kinda thing right? ( making sure.. ) thanks anyway! let me check ZOOM B3! (:

Correct, you can record up to 40 seconds and you can overdub, it also quantize to match the recording to the tempo. Few more things B3 also has: drums patterns, tunner, USB interface so you can record in your computer (software included), 11 amps simulators, 99 stomboxes, you can store up to 100 patches, you can use batteries, AC adapter or a USB cable to power it, DI, Headphones output for silent practice, etc. Best bang for the money IMO.
