This is my hat. I've been wearing on since the 1980s. I have it in black, brown, and white.

What's the name of this style of hat?
It's called a Cadet Cap (also a patrol, or field, cap). And yes, it's been my go-to for a while as well...

Only then my guitarist bought one and started wearing it to gigs, and jeez, we can't BOTH go wearing the SAME cap... geez. So I went looking for something not-quite-the-same, and found the Rooney (don't have a pic of myself in it, sorry):

Cadet cap or, for actual military ones, patrol caps is common.
I had one of those, in about 1970
But, of course, you said that! I dig the Homburg. Looks great and Duck Dunn pipe to boot.

Last time I bought one, I was told they were discontinued.Wow, here I thought I was just venting about not being able to wear my favorite hat while I perform and now it's gone off the rails into a full fledged bass-hat thread! It's like watching a little child grow into an adult person with their own hopes and dreams. I love you all and I'm so proud of you.
Also, if the owners of the Goorin Bros Hat Shop is reading this... You're welcome!!
Wow, you’d think that, with all these bass players buying them, they would keep making them forever!Last time I bought one, I was told they were discontinued.
