I'll check it out.The Marshall reflector is a good budget choice
I understand what you mean, that why I'm looking for a budget one, although I'm looking for more of a ambient-spacey sound reverb than just with delays.I've always just used a delay with a short delay time and a lot of feedback. I've never really needed a dedicated reverb. That delay trick works for simple reverb situations. Plus, you got a delay with a quick knob twiddlin'. That's what I would try first.
Reverb just doesn't cut through that well in a band setting, unless you're using it during an intro, or a transition, maybe a spacey solo; basically places where the guitars drop out entirely or play in a manner that lets your reverb be heard.
If you decide you need a reverb pedal, I wouldn't invest a ton of cash. Honestly, I just don't hear it much pre-production, and I suspect there's a reason for that.
Maybe a hardwire or boss (preferably used)? Those seem solid and useable. No reason to dive into the deep end with an Eventide just yet. Sorry for a non answer answer. I'm just giving you my take based on experience.
The EHX Holy Grail is pretty good, but as I've read it's not that good for bass. And thank you, I appreciate your help.I feel ya. Makes sense. Maybe there's a reverb with an expression port to get really out there, if that's your goal. I'm not super knowledgeable about reverb, though. Hopefully someone knows of a budget reverb that has that ability. I think one of the EHX Holy whatevers does that, but I bet it's the giant pricey one. Just off the top of my head. Good luck buddy!

Depends on what sound your going for. If you just want something for soloing Id recommend the tc hall of fame or the Hardwire rv7. If you want to create pad type sounds for looping look into the digitech polara, m5, supernatural, or strymon (those 4 all have shimmer reverbs which I love for looping because than can create an octave up pad type sound which is cool for layering)Hi everyone, I've been looking for a bass reverb pedal, so far I've been fascinated by the Digitech Hardwire Supernatural Reverb and the Source Audio Soundblox2 Dimension Reverb. Any other suggestions? I prefer to be a budget one.
