The closing part I got - the reopening I hadn't, but happy news.Yeah basically he can't juggle family priorities and the store relocation while maintaining customer service at the same time, so for the meantime he's closing up shop.

Sounds like a cordial invitation, Jason. Jump on it.
Ventura Highway in the sunshine
Where the days are longer
The nights are stronger
Than moonshine
You're gonna go I know
I did some work on the east coast many years ago and the end of day engineering meetings normally included passing around a Mason jar of home cooking. We worked on the harder problems first. As the Mason jar became depleted every problem got easier. If it’s moonshine, home brew, and cheap livin’ you want, that’s all we do down here in the Carolinas! You could live here for a year on what 2 months in California costs, and you can’t step off the porch without tripping over a still![]()

Hello everyone!
Again I can't thank you all enough for the kind words, prayers, and good wishes. This thread really made me think about a lot of things. After a lot of discussion with my wife, we are continuing our plans. Once everything in our life normalizes we hope to get BassStringsOnline back to what it used to be and better.
pcake - Yes BassStringsOnline was in Chattsworth for about 3 years. A little more than a year ago I moved the shop to Temecula. Thankfully we now live in Murrieta where I am 10 miles from the shop. 15 minute drive no traffic, 45 minutes with traffic, and 22 minutes my dirt road backway with no cell phone service! The commute is not the issue. We moved out here as it is much more reasonable hoping to cut costs... It didn't work as planned.
