I had no idea until I just searched for some new strings and the TB thread popped up.

I've been out of everything due to moving and family.

I remember early on when Jason had started. Always prompt and I enjoyed the discount.

I just bought some GHS Flats last summer.

I believe I got some Cobalt Flats from him the last time.

Probably so as I always bought my strings from him in the last 6 or 7 years.

Wonderful guy, great business...sad to see it go.

In 2011 I started this thread about my experience with Bass Strings Online. It's the only place I've bought Bass Strings from since. Today via a live video Jason announced he's closing BSO.

Well Frickin A I guess I am about 12 years late. In San Diego years ago there was a nice little shop
called "Bass Alone". Here in Florida there is a Bass store in the Orlando area that has a ton of basses. " Bass Central " Fern Park FL.

how are those cobalt flats anyways? I just recently put a set of fresh cobalt roundwounds on a prototype bass of mine and so far so good!
