I am hiring a new shipping / receiving person in May but it isn't exactly a high paying position...
as i've found out , you can't get things quickly that are not really in stock ... available , yes ... drop shipped from manufacturer at a better price than their website , yes ... i've never quite figured out how my last order actually worked out ..??!!? whatever ... with some web stores , you need to be patient ( to earn your savings ) deal with that or move on ... not everyone rules the world like Amazon Prime ..! i've gotten strings from Amazon actually ... paid $52 for a brand new set of Ti flats ..!! there IS a Store section right here on TB also ...!! i've also used JustStrings for more odd ball things ... decent price , but the flat $$$$ shipping is kinda daft ... but again , only You can decide what ' stuff' you wanna put up with ... !!
Where else are you gonna find flats for a short scale 5-string? Sure as hell not at GC.
Jason and I have exchanged a few emails over the last few months after I complained in a post that BSO wasn't as "Canadian-friendly" as I liked due to the extra cost involved in shipping across the border.
Then he reached out to me with a deal I couldn't refuse; enough discount on the order for three sets of strings to cover the shipping cost and then some. My order is going through Canada Customs as I write this.

I am always available! Email, Private Message (though I'm not always getting notifications lately), Text, Facebook Messanger, and now I have WhatsApp... Can always reach out and I can physically check if something is in stock for you and make sure they are sent same day if needed.

International shipping is always a battle. Appreciate you working with me! I urge users to contact me if the shipping rate the website figures is higher than they would like. I can do all I can to find the best rates.
I was working with a freight forwarding service that I lost thousands of dollars and dozens of packages with. A new one has come to light and I am exploring using that. If it works out I will be able to offer lower rates again.

I love Jason’s website..... The selection and prices are excellent! The sale items are a great way to try out some different strings on the cheap. I use a specific set of string for my MTD and Jason has them at a great price shipped fast. An asset to the Talkbass community.
From the time I ordered 2 sets of strings from Jason it took approx 4 weeks from order to delivery. I know that sounds like a long time but they had to travel to Australia and I consider that a good delivery time, considering I can order stuff here from 400 miles away within my own country, and wait longer than a month loll. Jason was great to deal with and kept me in the loop with great communication. Dont sweat it Jason, ya just keep everyone happy all the time as the old saying goes.

Jason - long time customer here. Also used to run a small internet-based business which my son took over (thank god!). You do a great job - don't let this kind of stuff get you down. There will always be a few outliers who are not happy no matter what. To make a big fuss over 1 set of strings and a $12 bass hanger - sheesh!
I have ordered a couple of times. The only time I waited was when the item needed up being out of stock. I reached out to Jason through hear and he was quick to respond with an update. Bass Strings On Line is a great source of items, particularly items others rarely have. I'll keep going to BSO and supporting a great guy.
BSO is my go-to for ordering electric bass strings online. Not only have I had no problems, Jason has gone the extra mile when I needed it.
