I’ve purchased strings before with Jason but how do you note that you are a TB member?

I have since made the discounts open to all users. Discounts are applied automatically at checkout on applicable items.

You can email me and I can set your account up with VIP status though. I plan on doing something for users registered as VIPs in the future.

BSO made it possible for me to try all the kinds of different strings there is and get heaps of knowledge and experience as well in the progress with a deeper understanding of how different strings work with different types of basses.
Thanks for your time, Jason.

I believe that some people who are disatisfied with stellar customer service such as this always believe that they are in the right and therefore must be on the 'right' side, no matter how they chose to communicate. I hope that the situation didn't render any of the involved parties sleepless.

I hope you continue your great work at BSO!

I get all my strings through BSO and have had E-mail contact with Jason a couple of times. I sent an e-mail one weekend when I was just thinking about getting some strings not expecting a response until Monday only to get one within an hour or so . Jason in my experience goes above and beyond most of the time . I have always thought their customer service is second to none.

I have nothing but great things to say about Jason and BSO. I’ve spent a LOT of money on that website. He’s always helped answer any questions or concerns and has even ordered things that weren’t even listed on his website for me. Sure, OP, you can go to GC and fatten some CEO’s bank account and have strings the same day. I’ll stick with the little man who cares about his customers and help put food on his table.

Some people just like to complain.
I have only purchased strings once from BSOL, but very happy.
I only change stings once per year and order accordingly.
But I may be the exception to the rule I order before the need so I don’t put myself in a jam
Be real
Things can happen
Keep up the good work
I am a loyal customer even if I don’t buy a lot

I can buy locally if i want D'addario, Fender rounds or EB rounds. Anything beyond that Long and Mcquade have to order them in.

I can get anything i want through BSO faster and cheaper. Even after shipping and customs to Canada. I just make sure i add a few extra packs on each order to cover any urgent scenarios

90%+ of my strings come from BSO along with a few pickups, pre amps and hardware

Hey if you order something out of stock you have to wait, just saying....... If you want your order immediately then you have to deal with higher prices. The approach I take is to order in advance so that I always have strings available. I've placed orders before from bassstrings online and waited, however it was no big deal because I order before I need them and benefit from the lower pricing. Just my 2 cents

I've seen some awesome reviews of these guys which got me excited to purchase somewhere other than my local GC. I'm disappointed that I can't add to that group of reviews, but want to make sure balanced feedback is on this forum.

I placed an order for strings and a couple accessories 8 days ago, qualifying for free shipping. Since the first "order received" email, I haven't gotten any follow-up to suggest my order is being worked on or exactly what the delay in shipping it is. I don't think it's even hit the mail yet, so I'm probably looking at at least 14 days to get this purchase which seems crazy in this day and age. The show I purchased fresh strings for is next Wednesday, a full 15 days after when I placed the order, and I still doubt they'll arrive by then.

Really just disappointed that I'm only left with an in person GC purchase at retail price, basically making this whole experiment one big failure and definitely a repeat customer lost. Still hoping the goods arrive eventually!

I did wait a month once for some strings... Jason explained to me the website hadn't been updated and so information on there was wrong. I wasn't in a rush for them, so no big deal. However, any more than a week seems excessively long to wait.

I have dealt with Jason on many occasion and he has taking care of my needs every time I use no other source for my bass strings. Like any other business things can slip through the cracks it is the customer service that sets them apart. I have seen a few post on here where people had issues and he has gone out his way to resolve them. Nice thing is he is one of us, and saw the need to put together a website where he could get us a one stop for all our string needs. Wishing you continued success Jason great appreciate all your efforts. RTS
