It seems I always rant about those, but they're worth it to me. I owned a Squier VM77 Jazz which I sold to finance another bass purchase but I still have this VM70s. In terms of quality, sound and playability, it is not far behind of my MIA and MIJ Jazz basses, at half the price.

Fretless Dean Edge 4. Wooped A on several MUCH-pricier axes. Would love another- dumped it in a fit of *I only play 5 & 6ers now* silliness. Not saying if that's your attitude you're silly, but certainly the case for me.

I have a Dean Edge 5er fretless.....great bass...i did Tru Oil the board.

Squire Classic Vibe 50’s Precision bass. Hands down. Paid $300ish for a new one, spent some time sanding the neck, and replaced the stock electronics with CTS/Emerson and Lindy Fralins. Stock bridge & tuners. My go to bass for my country band.

My '89 Rudy Sarzo Signature for $425. I think I got the last one at this price point before everybody woke up! Heard they were decent. This one feels like it was made for me. Perfect neck profile, great playability and some amazing tones IMO. I got one of the great ones.

Just got an Ovation Magnum IV. Never touched one, was always curious. One came up in excellent condition at a price I had to BIN or lose. Only minor adjustments plus neck needed a shim. Got some Precision flats on it and it doesn't stop making me smile!!! This was a great grab, much better that I expected. Cannot wait to get it into my rig on a gig.

I had this bass built in the Standard Plus Roscoe and received early January this year and it is the best bass I've owned period. I've actually had Roscoes built that cost $1000-1500 more and other basses built that was double the price. This bass exceeds in looks, playability and tone over any I've had.
