Bass Whammy Petition!

I have an endorsement with Digitech and I'm in very good standing with them. I have discussed the possibility of them re releasing the bass Whammy on several occasions and the pedal just was not a good seller to begin with among other factors that I will not divulge. As far as Digitech potentially selling a large # of Bass whammy pedals at this point it doesn't matter who's playing one, plus bass players are substituting the Bass Whammy for the Whammy pedals that were originally designed for guitar players and that's fine with Digitech(at this point).

Have Digitech been planning a release of a Whammy V, perhaps, with a wider tracking range, more settings, and more user friendly (as far as it comes to switching settings)?

Really they don't need to reissue the Bass Whammy, but one with "improvements" would be nice. I have a WH4 now and enjoy it tons, but it's got a few bugs that I'm sure can be worked out.

And are those other factors unable ot divulge "serious" ones?

I agree with you that the Whammy IV is more than adequate for bass...and Digitech has a lot more to gain by selling a new Whammy V, with some of the Bass Whammy functions than re-issuing the Bass Whammy.

But, with all due respect and a fan of the work that I've heard from you...there are 15 threads a week about Justin Chancellor here...I can't say the same about you...so IMO the comparison that you're trying to make doesn't hold water.
