I go back and forth on a 60s or 70s (vintage or RI) Mustang bass, because they're super cute. Also I occasionally think about a EBMM ray to replace my cheapo SBMM.

In both cases, I talk myself out of them in the end. Can't say I wouldn't grab one or the other if they popped up somewhere and the price was right, but I've got too many basses I rarely play already.

I love looking at higher end basses, but I have made peace with my pocketbook. I do not see me spending more than $1,700 again. The only dream bass for me in that range would be a Tony Franklin Fender Precision.

I NEED that blue one.
